Tell us about yourself
Papa's is a family business which has been established since 1966. With the business now in it's third generation we are starting to see a big change in the direction and customer demand. With social media playing a much larger role in our day to day activities. We are currently one of the UK's Top 5 fish and Chip restaurants.
Can you tell us more about your main product?
We pride our selves on serving the nation's favourite dish - fish and chips. Sourcing sustainable fish and locally sourced potatoes fried in traditional beef dripping with our secret ingredient signature batter.
What would you consider your day to day challenges?
Day to we spend the vast majority of our time focussing on sourcing and preparing great food. As I am sure most restaurateurs would agree - it's often difficult to find time to promote yourself online via social media and have an engaging presence.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
We have great customers who are huge fans on our popular dish and travel miles to enjoy fish and chips with us. Seeing great reviews from regular customers on our Facebook page always puts a huge smile on our face.
How do you spread the word about your business and how do you use social medias ?
We have a great Facebook following and are always looking to expand this. We regular to engage our customers with competitions and conversations online to engage our customers.
Can you tell us about your Smiirl Counter
Our smiirl counter has been a phenomenal asset to the company. We would encourage everyone to get one. So easy and simple to set up the counter went from being in the box to displaying our accurate and live Facebook likes in a matter of seconds. The counter engages our customers interest and helps us create a conversation about social media with waiting customers. The retro stylish design has fitted in perfectly with our restaurant and the live updates mean we have generated lots of likes!
